I am an investor myself, and believe that every real estate transaction should be viewed as an investment. It should not be an emotional purchase or sale, even if it is your primary or second home.  I have been a student of real estate investment for over 40 years. I was licensed in 1978 in Florida when I was still in college (University of Florida, BSBA - Finance and Real Estate). Today, I am licensed in NC, SC, GA and FL. In addition to being a broker for numerous transactions, I am also an investor in income property and vacant land.

If you are selling, marketing is everything.  From setting your asking price to the media we use to market your property.  When we list a property, the listing is syndicated across 60+ other real estate platforms. If the property warrants it, we shoot a video which might include drone footage. Print is dead. 85% of buyers start their search online. Video is the key to attracting eyes. Social media (FB, LinkedIn, etc) are key pieces.  We have over 60,000 followers of our pages on Facebook, and my LinkedIn profile is connected to real estate agents across the Southeast. We also have an extensive email list of buyers and referral agents.  Staging of your property is very important, and it doesn't have to be expensive. Setting a realistic asking price is also key to attracting buyers. The sale of your property is both a financial decision and a personal one which will include emotional involvement. Separating the two will help you accomplish the sale.
